ABOUT DRAGON
Dragon is a risk management consultancy. We help Canadian industries and organizations asses internal and external risk factors, and provide them with strategies and plans to safeguard people, property and resources.
Our approach stands out for its grounding in fielded operations (law enforcement and military). This foundation in real-world leadership, risk and strategy gives us a unique perspective on both human and environmental factors that can present challenges to projects and organizations who operate in potentially sensitive or hazardous regions and sectors.
We operate across related verticals, with the common theme being the human element.
Founder
Founder Andy Yung retired after 12 years with the Canadian Armed Forces, and 18 years with the RCMP.
Andy was a weapons technician in the military and served with multiple combat units in his career. His RCMP service brought him to various detachments/ units across Western Canada, including years in Special Operations.
He is a graduate of Simon Fraser University with a M.A. in Terrorism, Risks, and Security Studies.
Andy also serves as a firearms trainer who trains local LE, and RCMP, as well as other emergency response units in Canada and in the US. You can learn more at www.drmtactical.com

The goal is to help people make better choices and enjoy more of life. Dragon’s overall objective is to also provide human-based risk management services to corporations that are looking for a better way.
We operate across two core verticals — risk management consulting, and a tactical training division where we provide advanced Canadian shooters, military, police and security agencies the small-group training they need to be at their best in adverse conditions.
